Welcome to the Anglesey Federation of WIs (AFWI).  We are a small but active Federation.  Our  WI's range from 10 to 80 members and you are assured a warm welcome from  them all.

Anglesey Federation are proud to own the WI Hall in Llanfairpwll where it all began in 1915.  You are more than welcome to arrange a visit to the Hall and have a meal combined with an historical talk.

The WI can offer all kinds of opportunities to all kinds of women.  Not only fun and friendship whilst making new friends, but learning new skills, listening to interesting speakers and making our voice heard in important places.

The ideals of the Women's Institute of truth, justice, tolerance and fellowship are as strong and important now in the 21st centrury as they were at the birth of the WI in 1915. 

The WI is the largest voluntary women's organisation in the UK. It exists to educate women to enable them to proved an effective role in the community, to expand their horizons and to develop and pass on important skills.
